Utkatasana and its Benefits
Utkatasana is a yoga posture, which is actually in chair pose. When compared to many other postures of yoga, utkatasana is easy to do. For a beginner for the first one or two times, you may feel little difficult, but soon you will find it very easy.

The steps of doing Utkatasana
Stand in the Tatasana pose (also called as Mountain pose).
Slowly inhale and raise your hands.
Then exhale slowly and bend your knees carefully and slowly. To do this bring your thighs as parallel to the yoga mat.
Slowly press your stretched shoulders to the back.
Now you may find it a bit difficult, but don't worry. Just stay in that position for about a minute.
Now inhale and straighten your knees.
Exhale slowly and release arms to the sides.
